On the first day of the trip, you will be driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara and will enjoy the natural vistas of the mountains of Nepal. It is a beautiful scene with hills on the side and the river Trishul flowing by the road. After a long ride of approx. Within 7 hours, you will reach Pokhara, where you can either rest at the hotel or explore the nearby area.
The Khopra Ridge Trek features great sights along the trail such as snow-covered forests, beautiful summit views, campsite life, and experiences while trekking. All individuals must be present in Pokhara by 1:00 pm. Once you have confirmed your trek reservation, you’ll find our hotel conveniently located in the heart of Pokhara. By Air: Located in Kathmandu, Nepal, Tribhuvan International Airport is the country’s sole international airport. While Pokhara has its airstrip, it has a partially-fledged airport. To reach Pokhara, fly into Tribhuvan Airport and then take a connecting flight. The approximately 200-kilometer journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about half an hour. Several well-known carriers operate on this route, including Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, and Simrik Air.
Travelling by train to Pokhara, Nepal, is not possible. The nearest railway stations are Jaynagar, New Jalpaiguri, and Gorakhpur in India. After reaching these stations, travellers can cross the borders at Panitanki Sunauli and then take a bus to Pokhara through Kathmandu.
Via Bus: Travellers can take a direct bus to cities in Uttar Pradesh, such as Gorakhpur or Varanasi, and then continue to Pokhara by crossing the Sunauli border, boarding another bus, or hiring a private vehicle. This route takes around 8 hours to complete. Alternatively, visitors can fly into Kathmandu and then take public or private transportation to Pokhara, which spans 200 kilometres and typically takes 6-7 hours.
When it’s time to head back from Pokhara, you can select either a road or air travel arrangement. Remember that our assistance only reaches the hotel doorstep and adheres to the hotel’s standard 11:00 am checkout policy.
