
Trek to the meditating place for Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara
Satopanth Lake Trek is a trek that takes the trekker through the Satopanth Tal (Lake) in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas. The landscape is beautiful, with a crystal-clear emerald lake and snow-clad mountains. This lake also holds great religious significance for the local people; they believed that it was a meditating place for Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheswara. The trekker would see Mount Chaukhamba, Swargarohini, Neelkantha, and Balakun surrounding the lake. On this trek, the trekker would be walking through two beautiful waterfalls, Shahastradhara & Vasundhara, along with Lakshmi Van & Khakrateertha, along with lush green meadows. This trek is enchanting because of ancient temples, lovely fields, beautiful forests, quaint villages and breathtaking mountains. The trekker would be mesmerized by the natural beauty like gushing streams, snow-covered mountains, forests of Oak & pine, and rivulets.
Satopanth Tal is an unblemished glacier lake at an altitude of 15100 ft. With the shape of a triangular, it is hidden amidst the magnificent Garhwal area.
