Day 01: Delhi-Corbett National Park by surface 245 Kms approx 5-6 Hrs

Today we start early from Delhi and commence on our Wilderness Trip to Corbett National Park, enjoy breakfast on the way (on direct pay), and by afternoon arrive at destination, and check into the booked accommodation, The Rest of the time at leisure free for your activities with the resort.

Corbett National Park: Spread across 500 square kilometers in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett National Park is a prized possession of India’s natural heritage. Established in 1936, it holds the distinction of being the country’s oldest national park, and its namesake, Jim Corbett was a celebrated hunter-turned-conservationist. The park’s diverse landscape, which includes rolling hills, sprawling grasslands, and dense forests, supports an astonishing array of flora and fauna. Visitors to the park can look forward to a memorable experience, with its many highlights and attractions, including the chance to spot rare and endangered species, explore picturesque scenery, and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities.

Day 02: In Corbett National Park - Experience the Jungle Safari

Today start the day by immersing yourself in nature with a 3-hour early morning ride in a Gypsy. This is your chance to marvel at the beauty of the great outdoors and experience the thrill of a wildlife safari, offering a chance to observe a diverse range of animals in their natural habitat. The park is home to several species, including the majestic Bengal tiger, the mighty Asian elephant, the elusive leopard, the sloth bear, various deer species, and a plethora of bird species. After the Safari experience return to your resort for breakfast, and later, head out to explore local attractions like the Garjiya Devi Temple, Kosi River, and Dhangari Museum. After a fulfilling day, return to your resort, and evening at leisure.

Day 03: Corbett – Nainital – Binsar by surface 150 Kms approx 4-5 Hrs

After the unforgettable experience at Corbett National Park, we embark on a scenic journey to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, situated on the southeast edge, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of 47.04 square kilometers. It is home to a variety of wildlife, such as ghorals, wild boars, kakars, monkeys, Indian red foxes, jackals, pine martens, Himalayan black bears, and porcupines. Additionally, the sanctuary is known for its vast array of bird species, both resident and migratory, with more than 200 different types. The sanctuary is also famous for its diverse flora, including 25 types of trees, 24 types of bushes, and seven varieties of grasses. In the higher elevations, oak and rhododendron forests dominate the landscape. Enroute we will stop to explore and Stroll around the local Nainital Market followed by boating in the famous Nainital Lake (on direct payment).

Day 04: In Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary

Explore the picturesque village of Binsar on a leisurely morning walk, spanning approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Begin your stroll from the resort and take the longer route to soak in the tranquil atmosphere of the surrounding pine forest. Admire the scenic views of the Sunoli Valley’s lush farmlands and stop by a small Shiva temple along the way. As you continue, you’ll gradually ascend, passing a school where you can interact with the students and their teacher, gaining insights into the daily life of this quaint village. Upon reaching the village, relax with a cup of tea at a homestay and embark on a guided village orientation, immersing yourself in the authentic cultural experiences of rural life in Binsar. You can also choose to visit ZERO POINT, the evening at leisure.

How To Reach Corbett National Park?

By Air: If you plan to travel to Corbett National Park by air, the closest airport is Pantnagar Airport (PGH), which is around 50 kilometers from the park. Once you arrive at Pantnagar, you have the option to hire a taxi or utilize public transportation to get to the park. Though the airport is not frequent.

By Train: If you plan to travel by train, you can reach National Park by getting off at Ramnagar Railway Station (RMR). This station has good connections with important cities such as Delhi, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Once you arrive at Ramnagar, you have the option to hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach the park, which is approximately 15 kilometers away.

By Road: If you are coming from Delhi, it will take you approximately 6-7 hours to reach Corbett National Park, which is about 260 kilometers away. You can drive via NH9 and NH534 or take a bus to Ramnagar or Haldwani and then hire a taxi to get to the park. If you are coming from Nainital, the park is around 70 kilometers away and it will take you about 2-3 hours to drive there via NH534. Taxis and buses are also available from Nainital to Ramnagar. For those coming from nearby cities like Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh, you can drive or take a bus to Ramnagar or Haldwani and then proceed to the park. State-run and private buses also operate from various cities in Uttarakhand and neighboring states to Ramnagar and Haldwani, which are the nearest major towns to Corbett National Park. From there, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to reach the park.

  I have done kedarkanta trekk with trekkup India, one who love snow,,it is must recommended place to trekk, team trekkup( trekk leaders Vivek, nilesh, maninder) very co operative, facility provided by them is next level, if I tell about the place, lot of awesome views of mighty Himalayas, adverse extreme living experience in tents with night snowfall, clear sky with freezing temperatures at night, more people to make friends and sharing life experiences and view, one small suggestion, before doing this trekk you should start doing exercises atleast 10 days before this trekk, this will helps you lot,

  To walk on slippery ice and fall umpteen times, to be hungry and thirsty for hours, to experience sub-zero temperature etc. was not easy.
