Day Wise Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Bhuntar to Kasol by surface 35 Kms approx 1 Hrs
Today on arrival at Bhuntar airport met and received by company representative and proceed the drive to Kasol, is a small village nestled deep in the scenic Parvati Valley. On reaching the accommodation, we check into the hotel/guest house, we have some time for freshen up and later drive to visit Manikarna Sahib is a huge Gurudwara tucked between imposing hills and a fierce Beas. The high point of the Manikaran Sahib is the hot spring located within the premise of the Gurudwara, evening at leisure, free for own activities.

Day 02 Kasol – Manali by surface 80 Kms approx 2-3 Hrs
Morning after leisurely breakfast, we straight drive to Manali, check into the booked accommodation and thereafter we drive to Explore Old Manali ( enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurant on direct payment), The hamlet town of Old Manali is just beyond the main town, this quaint little place is popular for some rustic attractions and leisure options. You can chill out on the riverside in cafes and restaurants which serve a delectable variety of food, set in a homespun atmosphere with live music and entertainment. Old Manali is situated in a different setting than the main town, which is why you will find it ethereally different in experience. From here we drive to visit Hadimba Devi Temple, which is located at a tranquil location between snowcapped mountains. This unique shrine is a dedication to the mother of Ghatothkach, a mythological character from Mahabharata, and the wife of Bhim. The temple is beautifully styled and built in an altogether different architectural manner than any other temple, which makes it worth visiting. Later, we drive to back to our booked accommodation, evening at leisure.

Day 03: In Manali – Excursion to Rhothang Pass by surface 50 Kms one way
Today we start early morning for an excursion to Rohtang it’s a snow point in Manali. It is the best destination for the thrill and enthusiastic lovers. Snowstorm and blizzards are dangers so keep in while heading towards Rohtang. This is one of the most spectacular destinations in Manali with spice. This ground of corpses is at high altitude of 14000 ft. On Tuesday, Rohtang is closed. (Note: To visit Rhothang the govt. of Himachal Pradesh issues permits, which are easily available but subject to permission and availability). If you have time, you may take an opportunity to visit and drive through the newly built Atal Tunnel is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway in Himachal Pradesh, India. At a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world. Later in the evening explore the local market of Manali on the Mall road.

Day 04: Manali – Dharamshala by surface 230 Kms approx 6-7 Hrs
Today we start early leaving behind Manali, as we have the long drive, enroute we make a short stop at Nagar, which was once the capital of Kullu Rajas (King) till 1660 A.D. The ancient castle, which has now been converted into a Tourist Bungalow, overlooks the entire Beas valley. Here we will visit two old temples near the castle and also Nicholas Roerich, the famous Russian painter and philosopher Museum lived at Nagar and his quaint little house has been converted into a small museum, we continue our driver via next big town of Mandi It is the District Headquarters of Kullu District, further driving through Palampur, known for its Tea Gardens towards Dharamshala, on arrival check into our accommodation, evening at leisure, time for some rest and relax after a long Himalayan drive.

Day 05: In Dharamshala – Khaijjiar by surface 120 Kms approx 4 Hrs
Today morning we start our day by visiting Dalai Lama Complex, the Namgyal Stupa, or the Tsechokling Gompa to experience the meditative and spiritual soul that is Dharamsala. Dalai Lama temple, Tibetan capital-in-exile with a large community of lay people and monks. Dharamsala is also the home of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual head of the Tibetan Buddhists, who is now headquartered at Mcleodganj, the offering of ‘Katas’ or white scarf is an auspicious Tibetan tradition for welcoming and the start of a good relationship. Thereafter we drive to Norbulingka Institute is a major centre for Buddhist teaching and practical working for survival of Tibetan Buddhist’s cultural heritage. Later we will visit the famous St. John’s Church perched carefully within the wilderness, St. John’s Church has a neo-Gothic construction that has given it a good reputation amongst tourists. Later on we will proceed our drive to Khaijjar, known as MINI Switzerland of India Certified by Swiss Government. On Arrival we check into the hotel / Guest house, some time for rest and relax and thereafter we have an opportunity to explore around Khaijjiar

Day 06: Khaijjiar – Amritsar by surface 210 Kms approx 5-6 Hrs
Today morning we start a little early than usual and proceed to visit Khajjiar Lake is a breathtaking destination, nestled amidst verdant meadows and towering cedar forests. Its serene waters and picturesque surroundings make it an ideal spot for family picnics and horseback rides. The lake’s peaceful ambiance and spectacular vistas make it a must-see attraction in Khajjiar, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We will also visit Khajji Nag Temple, a centuries-old shrine, is devoted to the revered serpent deity, Khajji Nag. Boasting traditional Himachali architecture, the temple is believed to have been built in the 12th century. It is a spiritual haven for both locals and tourists, providing a window into the region’s wealthy cultural past. Next we proceed to visit The Lord Shiva Statue situated in Khajjiar is a striking white marble sculpture set against the picturesque scenery of the town. Day 07: Evening Departure from Amritsar
Today morning we start early to explore Amritsar is a city known for its deep cultural roots and historical importance, providing a variety of fascinating attractions for tourists to discover. The Golden Temple, situated at the center of the city, stands as a magnificent representation of Sikh beliefs and openness. Encircled by the peaceful waters of its holy tank, the temple invites individuals from diverse religious backgrounds to enjoy its calm atmosphere and engage in the communal dining tradition, highlighting the values of fairness and togetherness. Next to the Golden Temple is Jallianwala Bagh, a touching tribute to those who lost their lives in the tragic 1919 massacre, symbolizing India’s fight for freedom. Later on, we will be transferred to Amritsar Railway station / Airport to board your onward flight back home.

How To Reach Kasol?
By Air: Traveling by air to reach Kasol is most convenient through Bhuntar Airport, also known as Kullu-Manali Airport, situated around 31 kilometers from the destination. Flights to Bhuntar Airport are available from key cities such as Delhi and Chandigarh. Once you arrive at the airport, you can opt to hire a taxi or catch a bus to complete your journey to Kasol.
By Train: Traveling by train to Kasol presents a few options. The closest major railway station to Kasol is Joginder Nagar, located approximately 144 kilometers away. However, this station has limited connections to major cities. Alternatively, you can opt to travel to Chandigarh or Pathankot Railway Station, both of which offer better connectivity to major cities across India. Once you arrive at Chandigarh or Pathankot, you can proceed to Kasol by bus or taxi.
By Road: Kasol is accessible from three major nearby locations: Delhi, Chandigarh, and Manali.
From Delhi, Kasol is a 12-14 hour drive, covering approximately 520 kilometers. You can choose to drive or take a bus from Delhi to Bhuntar, a major bus terminal. From Bhuntar, you can take a further bus or taxi ride to reach Kasol, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
From Chandigarh, the journey takes around 7-8 hours by road, covering approximately 290 kilometers. You can opt for a drive or bus ride from Chandigarh to Bhuntar, and then continue to Kasol as described above.
From Manali, Kasol is merely 75 kilometers away, taking around 2-3 hours to reach by road. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from Manali to Kasol.
