Tarsar Marsar Trek - Temporarily Suspended - 11/July/2024
Dear Trekkers,
We regret to inform you that since 11th July 2024, no trekkers have been permitted to embark on the Tarsar Marsar, Nafran Valley, and Bodpathri treks. The District Administration of Pahalgam has restricted trekking in the region as a safety measure due to the current unrest in Jammu. We have been closely monitoring the situation for the past 7 days, and there was another
mishap during a search and rescue mission yesterday.
Note: Currently, the Tarsar Marsar trek is not operating. Trekkers have the following options:
Option 1: Wait for some more time and monitor the situation.
Option 2: Choose one of the following treks:
Option 3: Opt for the same trek next year, 2025.
This is just an initial decision and planning, so you can prepare accordingly well in advance. We will keep you all updated on this matter.
