Tarsar Marsar Trek - Temporarily Suspended - 11/July/2024

Important Update for Trekkers: Temporary Trekking Restrictions

Dear Trekkers,

We regret to inform you that as of July 11, 2024, trekking on the Tarsar Marsar, Nafran Valley, and Bodpathri routes has been temporarily suspended. This decision has been taken by the District Administration of Pahalgam as a precautionary safety measure due to the ongoing unrest in parts of Jammu.

Our team has been closely monitoring the situation over the past week. Unfortunately, a mishap occurred during a recent search and rescue operation, further reinforcing the need for caution.

Please note: The Tarsar Marsar trek is currently not in operation.

Trekkers are advised to consider the following options:

Option 1: Wait and continue monitoring the situation with us. We will keep you informed of any changes or updates.

Option 2: Shift to an alternative trek from the following recommended options:

Option 3: Defer your trek and join us for the same trail next year, in 2025.

This is an early-stage update to help you plan accordingly. We understand how important your trek is to you, and we will ensure clear and timely communication moving forward.

Thank you for your understanding and continued trust.

Warm regards,
Team TrekupIndia
